How do we send you emails?
Abandoned Cart Emails
You’ll receive an automated email within 24 hours after you abandon your shopping cart, if all of the following occur:
- You enter your email address at checkout, or are logged into your Customer Account.
- You add a product which is in stock to your shopping cart.
- You close your browser or leave this website without completing your purchase.
You can unsubscribe from these messages at the bottom of the email.
The email will link back to this website, where you can pick up where you left off and complete your purchase.
With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates. You can unsubscribe from these emails by clicking the link at the bottom of the email.
Order and Account Emails
We may email you with messages about your order or account activity. For example, we may email you to tell you that:
- You’ve created a Customer Account
- Your Customer Account password has been reset or updated
- You’ve made a purchase
- Your order has shipped
It’s not possible to unsubscribe from these messages.
How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

IV. SHOPIFY E-COMMERCE
Our store is hosted on Shopify. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s databases and the general Shopify application.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
V. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
What do third-party services do with my information?
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
In particular, certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. How do we protect your information?
I Love My Muff takes precautions to secure your personal information and protect it from loss, theft, unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification and disclosure. Such measures include technological, physical and organizational safeguards that are appropriate given the sensitivity of the personal information, including maintaining controlled access to electronic and paper documents and files, and using appropriate technology safeguards such as passwords, firewalls, and encryption as well as non-disclosure or confidentiality agreements as we deem appropriate to protect your data. However, please note that I Love My Muff’s security measures may change or be unavailable from time to time and no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network is 100% secure.
If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
VII. AGE OF CONSENT
By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
